The monthly workshop of WelComLab is held at No. 3 Conference Room, New Main Building, Beihang University, on May 3rd, 2013.

The topic of this workshop is Green Radio, including what is the destination of green radio and the definition of EE.

Prof. Yang firstly gave a talk about “What’s new in energy efficient wireless communication”.  Then, the PhD student Zhang Qian introduced his research about the antenna and BS sleep strategy in cooperative systems. Yao Chuting made a presentation of the optimization towards accumulative EE in block fading channel. Finally, Liu Xin introduced the energy efficient uplink training design in closed loop MISO system.
